Alice is talking with her classmate James about the idea of writing a thank-you card for their English teacher, Mr. Ross.
A: Hey, James. I have an idea for Teacher’s Day.
J: Oh, yeah? What is it?
A: I thought we could surprise Mr. Ross with a big thank-you card from the whole class.
J: That’s a great idea! What should we write inside the card?
A: I was thinking we could start with a general message from everyone.
J: That sounds excellent. How about this: “Thank you, Mr. Ross, for always making English fun and helping us grow”?
A: I like that! We could also mention how creative his lessons are, like the time we acted out dialogues from the textbook.
