　　In recent years, a continuing trend of rising temperatures has been recorded around the globe. While this has had various effects on the Earth’s weather patterns, the most apparent impact is extreme heat. Events such as heat waves, which are long stretches of dangerously high temperatures, have become more common. They are often made worse by heat domes, which occur when high-pressure systems trap hot air over a region. Being exposed to extreme heat, especially during a heat wave, can be very dangerous to our health.

　　近年来，全球各地都记录到气温持续上升的趋势。尽管这对地球的天气模式产生了各种影响，但最明显的影响是极端高温。像是热浪等事件已变得更常见，其为长时间持续的危险高温。它们往往因为高温穹顶现象而变得更为严重，当高压系统将热空气困在某一区域的上空时，高温穹顶便会发生。暴露在极端高温下，尤其是在热浪发生期间，对我们的健康有很大的危害。
