T: Tom P: Peggy
Peggy is telling her friend Tom about her family’s trip to the Taipei Zoo last weekend.
P: Yeah! I particularly loved watching the meerkats dash around. They’re so cute.
T: Did you see any big animals, like elephants or giraffes?
P: Of course! My sister really loves elephants. She was happy to see them out and about. Do you have a favorite animal?
T: Bears are cool. Polar bears are my top pick, but there aren’t any of those at the Taipei Zoo.
P: The zoo has a few other species of bears, though.
T: Oh, I know. The pandas are adorable and charming.

汤 姆： 妳有看到大象或长颈鹿等大型动物吗？
佩 姬： 当然有啊！我姊姊非常喜欢大象。她很高兴看到牠们外出走动。你有最喜欢的动物吗？
汤 姆： 熊很酷。北极熊是我的首选，但台北市立动物园没有北极熊。
佩 姬： 不过，动物园里还有一些其他种类的熊。
汤 姆： 哦，我知道。大猫熊可爱又迷人。
