The death of pets can be difficult for their owners. It is often hard to cope with the loss of their animal friends who loved them unconditionally. Around 200 years ago, a special pet cemetery was created in a quiet corner of London’s Hyde Park to comfort owners who were in grief over their losses. Hyde Park Pet Cemetery was founded in the 1800s by Mr. Winbridge, who served the Duke of Cambridge and lived on the edge of the park. He allowed people to bury their pets in his private garden. Many members of the upper class asked to have their pets buried there because the park was in a prestigious London location.
